Why AAA cabretta
Cabretta is hair sheep leather, the standard for tour-level gloves because it is thin enough to feel the grip and strong enough to hold up to it. Cabretta is graded, and the grade is where most gloves quietly cut cost.
- AAA cabretta, what we use. The top grade. The most uniform thickness and the fewest natural marks, which is what lets it be cut thin without giving out at the thumb and cuff.
- Lower-grade leather. More variation and more marks, so it gets cut thicker to compensate. You feel less of the club through it.
- Synthetic and part-synthetic. Usually a leather-look palm on a synthetic back. Cheaper, and it lasts, but it does not breathe the same way and it never really molds to your hand.
Ours breaks in over two to three rounds and then holds that shape. Every pair ships as a 2-pack so you can rotate them, which is the single best thing you can do to make a glove last.

Our gloves are not made to last forever, but if they are cared for and stored properly, they will last longer than others. If your gloves fail within 45 days of purchase, we will usually replace them with no questions asked. If you have had the gloves longer than 45 days and you feel they did not hold up as you wished, we will often offer you a discount towards a new pair.
